Unlike creating a race, creating an object starts the object off at a base state with no beneficial traits or negative traits. From here, players can give items beneficial traits at an increase in difficulty. Once an item has at least one beneficial trait, it must have one negative trait. Items can have up to 4 positive traits and at least one negative trait. Traits never give gods bonuses to rolls, but can help mortals perform better or in particular ways.
+3 to target difficulty per positive trait, one negative trait must be taken at the first positive trait.
